This diagnostic manual can be used to determine if the LCD back light power supply is faulty.  In addition to providing the voltage supply specifications, it also provides detailed steps (with pictures) for opening the machine to access the back light power supply.  

Tools Required:
1.) 2.5 mm Allen wrench
2.) standard Phillips head screwdriverJanomeMemoryCraft
3.) ground strap (ESD protection)
4.) digital multi-meter
